Sunday Stay and Dine
Stay from just £75 per room on Sunday nights when you spend a minimum of £100 on food and beverages.
Arrive from 3pm to get settled into your beautiful bed chamber and prepare for a night of food and beverage heaven! As you are taken to your room by one of our friendly team, they will tell you the tales of the castle and aquaint you with your surroundings.

Festive Season at Thornbury Castle
We look forward to welcoming first time and returning guests to Thornbury Castle this Festive Season. Stay with us for our Christmas Break and/or New Year’s celebrations in our Tudor Castle Palace.
You are invited to arrive during the afternoon and enjoy cream tea in the lounge and library. At 7 pm join us to meet your fellow guests for our welcome Black Tie Champagne reception and be entertained by our festive Carol singers. To follow - a fabulous five course gourmet dinner, after which you may wish to take a stroll to one of the two local churches.
Christmas Day
Continental breakfast will be served in your bedchamber whilst you unwrap the goodies in your Christmas stocking! At noon, we meet in the lounge by the Christmas tree where you will receive a complimentary glass of Sherry and a Christmas gift. At 1 pm our Christmas ‘feast’ is served with all the trimmings. Afterwards, either relax or embark on the Tudor Quest – the search for a mysterious lost jewel ‘the heart of Jasper Tudor’ believed to be hidden in the Castle grounds. Later, enjoy cocktails and an informal light supper with a Port tasting.
Boxing Day
After a hearty Hunter’s Breakfast served in the dining rooms you may wish to stroll into the village to see the spectacular and traditional departure of the Berkeley Hunt. Then, return to the Castle for a light two course lunch, after which you will be entertained by a spectacular falconry display on the Castle’s lawn with our falconer Michael Davie, who is one of the country’s leading falconers. You will marvel at these magnificent birds of prey in action. In the evening we will welcome you to our Farewell Gala Dinner.
