Choose from a two or three night break
Christmas Eve – Friday 24th December 2010
You are invited to arrive during the afternoon of Friday 24th December. Tea, coffee and homemade biscuits will be available in the drawing rooms for thirsty travellers. At 7.00pm our welcome ‘Black Tie’ Champagne reception will be held in the ‘Old Castle Tudor Kitchen’ during which you will be entertained by carollers. To follow, our Head Chef will prepare for you a fabulous five course gourmet dinner. Later, those inclined will be welcome to take a stroll to the Midnight Mass service at either of the two local churches (Church of England or Roman Catholic). But do return to the castle for mince pies and hot toddies by the fireside before retiring to your bedchamber to await the sound of sleigh-bells.
Christmas Day – Saturday 25th December 2010
Awake to enjoy a leisurely Continental breakfast which will be served in your bedchamber. At 12.00 Noon we will all meet in front of the Christmas tree in the lounge where you will be presented with a glass of Sherry and a Christmas gift with our compliments. At approximately 1.00pm our full Christmas ‘feast’ will be served with all the trimmings, courtesy of Head Chef John Lyons and his brigade. For the afternoons entertainment those who wish may embark on our Tudor Quest: A search for a mysterious lost jewel ‘the heart of Jasper Tudor’ believed to be hidden in the castle grounds. In the evening we will be serving cocktails and an informal, light supper, after which we will have a Port tasting.
Boxing Day – Sunday 26th December 2010
A ‘Hunter’s Breakfast’ will be served after which you may wish to take a stroll around the village to enjoy the ‘Heritage ‘Trail’ or simply relax around the castle and grounds. After a light lunch there will be a falconry display on the Castle lawn where you will marvel at these magnificent birds of prey in action. In the evening we will hold a farewell gala dinner.
Monday 27th December 2010
A full English breakfast will be served this morning. Before you leave us you may wish to take a stroll into the village and watch the spectacular departure of the ‘Berkeley Hunt’.

Booking
We require a 50% deposit at time of booking to secure your reservation. Full payment is required by 1st December 2010.
Terms and Conditions Prices are per person per day and based on two people sharing a double or twin room. Single occupancy rates are available on request. Minimum stay of two nights starting 24th December 2010. Prices include full board, food and beverages as listed above, entertainment and VAT. Cancellation Policy
In the event of a cancellation before 1st October 2010 a full refund will be given. For cancellations after 1st October 2010 a full refund (less £50 administration fees) will only be made if we are successful in reselling the accommodation.
For non-arrival or curtailment of stay we regret it will be necessary to charge the full cost of the package.
We respectfully recommend that our guests secure cancellation insurance.
