New Year at Thornbury Castle
Cream Tea served between 1pm and 4pm, then relax and unwind in the lounge and perhaps play a board game or two. From 7pm, join us for a pre-dinner black-tie Champagne reception with a selection of canapés, followed by dinner at 7.30pm where we’ll offer a range of wines to complement your meal.
After dinner, make your way to the Tudor Hall for our James Bond themed evening, You’ll be entertained by a live band whilst you mingle in true aristocratic style. Why not then try your luck on the casino tables from 10pm whilst enjoying drinks from the Champagne and gin bar. Later in the evening you can make some moves on the dance floor when our resident DJ takes to the stage. From 11:45pm a traditional piper will welcome in the New Year, followed by a firework display in the castle grounds at midnight. You’ll then be served a glass of Champagne together with a bacon bap to celebrate the start of 2024!
New Years Day
A delicious buffet breakfast will be served in our restaurant between 8am and 10:30am after which, you may wish to take part in traditional Tudor activities taking place in the grounds, these include axe throwing and longbow. These will need to be pre-booked. Check out is at 11am when we say goodbye and wish you well for the year ahead.

Our package is subject to availability from 30th to 1st January 2024. 50% non-refundable deposit is required at the time of booking with the remaining balance due by 1st December. Supplements apply to larger bedroom categories.
